An electronic anti-phase protection system can be built into the hoist at no extra cost. This ensures that Lodestars from PCM are always correctly phased and therefore run in the correct direction, with the limits operating properly (European voltages only) It is normally wired as a unit to detect mix-phasing. If the phasing is incorrect, the unit will not operate until the problem is resolved. As an option, the anti-phase system can be wired in a way that allows Lodestars to operate on a single power cable, i.e. without control cable. The control circuit is still used, and the limits still operate. This allows Lodestars to be used with Verlinde controllers. |
